I have been practicing law in Texas since 2008. I know the law, most of the judges, and many of the other attorneys in Tarrant, Dallas, Johnson, Parker, and Denton Counties. I have appeared in well over 50 counties throughout Texas and in the US District Courts of Northern and Eastern Texas. You will be in good hands.
I occasionally contract a paralegal to assist with some document drafting, but do most of my administrative duties on my own. This saves money in overhead expenses and allows me to offer these high quality legal services without the $2,000 - $5,000 down payment retainer fees often demanded by most other firms. I also frequently hold my client consultations over the telephone instead of charging my clients for the travel time in meeting in person. This arrangement has worked for hundreds of clients and saves on costs, which is directly passed on to you, the client, through lower retainer deposits.
Agreed Divorce Services
Below are summaries of the two cheapest and easiest divorce service packages that I offer. Please let me know if you have any questions.
OPTION 1
Pro Se Divorce Service - Background Support, Documents, Coaching, Instructions, and Guidance
Attorney Serviced Agreed Divorce Service
I have provided this $650* divorce service for over 14 years to facilitate hundreds of divorces throughout Texas. The service is designed for couples who can agree on all property and parenting issues within 60 days after filing for divorce. I do not represent either party in the divorce. Instead, I will provide you with all fully completed customized paperwork, step-by-step instructions on how to file and complete the divorce, procedural guidance, and will answer all questions regarding laws and and how a judge would probably rule given your circumstances.
Process - What to Expect
You can start the process by completing my questionnaire. After completion and making payment, I will create and provide you with all paperwork and detailed instructions to file and complete your divorce. Only one hearing should be required, it will occur after the 60 day cooling off period, might be via Zoom video, is very simple, and we provide 100% support to eliminate the unknowns and intimidation. (Note that we do not attend the hearing with you, but give you complete instructions and a script to read to the judge.)
You and your spouse will need to come to agreement on any disputed issues before you finalize the divorce. Please note that my service does not include negotiations or mediation work. Cost and Payment
Legal Fee
The price for the legal service is $650*. The payment can be made online at www.nemeclaw.com/pay. As discussed, that payment is due in full before I get started on the paperwork.

Filing Fee and Waiver of Filing Fee
The court charges a filing fee of approximately $300-$420 to file the case. However, with our paperwork, the court should waive the filing fee if you can show that you cannot afford it. If your monthly income and expenses are about the same, that is, you have little or no disposable income after paying all of your expenses, then the court should waive your filing fees. I will provide you with the waiver and instructions to waive the fees. Please also be advised that the court might require you to show the judge proof of income, bills, and receipts to prove that you cannot afford the filing fees.
Alternatively, you can just pay the ~$300-400 filing fee directly to the district court clerk at the time you file the divorce.

OPTION 2
Full Representation Agreed Divorce Service
Alternative full representation agreed divorce service:
I also offer a flat rate fee uncontested full representation divorce service, if you wanted me to do more than just documents and instructions. In this service, you would still need to negotiate an agreement with your spouse without my mediation or negotiation services. I would draft all documents, file them with the court, and attend the final hearing with you. You would just need to complete the questionnaire for me, assist in obtaining your spouse's signature on two documents, and (possibly) appear at court with me after the 60 day waiting period (I would try to finalize the case without us appearing in court. If we did need to appear, the appearance should be through Zoom video). The total legal fee for this service is $1,200, as long as your spouse signs and returns the paperwork. Be advised that you would need to make an additional $300-$350 filing fee before the case is filed if you hired me to represent you in full.

If you and your spouse are unable to reach an agreement on all issues and this becomes a contested matter, I can help with a contested divorce. I typically require a retainer deposit of $2,500 for a contested divorce and I bill at my standard hourly rate of $300.
